Afterword

Questions about Google review requests for law firms

How does a law firm get more Google reviews without annoying clients?

Ask once the matter is actually closed, in the language the client used, with one link that goes straight to Google. Afterword waits a configurable number of days, texts first, and sends at most two reminders if the page was never opened. The message includes STOP.

Does Afterword hide the Google link from unhappy clients?

No. That practice is review gating. Google's review policy prohibits it, and FTC guidance treats suppressing or skewing reviews as deceptive. Every client who receives a request gets the same Google button. A private note is an extra on the same page. It never decides who can review the firm.

Can the request go out in Spanish?

Yes. Each client has a language. The text, the email, and the public page follow it. That is the point for San Antonio firms whose docket is not English-only. The firm edits both templates.

What does review management include?

Sending the ask, logging consent, recording STOP, counting who opened the page and who continued to Google, and drafting a reply when a new review appears. Afterword does not post that reply to Google. Confirmed review counts still come from Google Business Profile.

Does joining the founding cohort charge a card?

No. The form stores the firm on a list. Afterword does not send email from that form. Founding rates for the first 25 San Antonio firms are $49, $149, and $299 a month, locked for 12 months. List prices after that are $99, $249, and $449.

Can a firm text every phone number in the case file?

No. A phone number imported from a case manager is not consent. Afterword will not text until someone records prior express consent, and it stops when the client replies STOP or uses the stop link.
